The Los Angeles Times is a world renowned daily newspaper with over 120 years in publishing local, national and global news. Over the years the newspaper industry has experienced volatility in the market from disruptive technologies and platforms that have fragmented and saturated the distribution of news. With this in mind, the Los Angeles Times has developed a new ultra-modern and user-friendly website to showcase its content and engage its audience. Upon the launch of the new website, the Los Angeles Times needed to create an integrated campaign to build awareness and drive traffic to the new website.
As a Los Angeles based agency, MVC leveraged its years of experiences as well as its knowledge of the Los Angeles lifestyle to create an overarching campaign that targeted specific industries and events that are uniquely identifiable as Los Angeles, and are representative of the tagline, “What happens here moves the world.”
