MVC Agency Completes Rebranding Projects for Walker Advertising
Agency Creates New Brand Identity for Renowned Legal Network
Los Angeles, Calif. – MVC Agency in Los Angeles, Southern California’s premier boutique marketing and brand development firm, has announced the launch of a new brand identity for 1-800-THE-LAW2 (TL2) and a new corporate identity for its parent company Walker Advertising.
Walker Advertising (www.walkeradvertising.com) has over 28 years of success as a full-service, joint-legal advertising agency. Walker is well known for helping attorneys and clients connect through integrated marketing campaigns.
1-800-THE-LAW2 (www.1800thelaw2.com), which targets the California general market, and its Spanish-language sister brand Los Defensores, provide a connection between legal professionals and consumers in need of legal help.
After an extensive review process, Walker hired MVC Agency based on the firm’s multi-faceted experience and portfolio of prominent brands. MVC’s mission was to spearhead the rebranding effort and logo re-design for both Walker Advertising and 1-800-THE-LAW2.
“We wanted to create a more community-oriented and consumer-friendly appeal while maintaining the seriousness of a legal services offering,” said Alex Arciniega, Walker Advertising’s Marketing Manager. “We also had to consider that our brand logos would need to work well together to meet Walker Advertising’s strategic goals.”
The new Walker Advertising logo marries the creative aspects of advertising with the appeal of legal services using a visual fusion of typefaces.
The new graphic icon for 1-800-THE-LAW2 brand identity is a creative solution that combines a courthouse with people as its pillars.
“There’s a tremendous amount of responsibility involved in a rebrand of this scale and the creative process was very involved,” said Jason Pires, MVC Agency’s Creative and Branding Director. “The final logos were based on first-round concepts, confirming my belief that great branding ideas should be founded on solid research, insight and a clear vision of the desired result.”
Both logos launched at the same time and will be used on advertising and marketing materials including print advertisements, billboards, buses, and the companies’ websites.
“We are extremely pleased with the creative and visual solutions that MVC provided Walker,” added Arciniega. “We presented them with a large creative brief and a long list of requirements, which were all fulfilled beyond what we felt would have been possible.”
